contacted Jim about teaching a
photography class for the Victoria
College Academy of Lifelong
Learning, a member-based
organization that offers personal
enrichment, educational, and
social opportunities for its
members.
The class was designed to
introduce the fundamentals of
photography. Topics discussed
included the exposure triangle
(the foundation for obtaining
correct exposures), the basic
operation of different types of
cameras, and composition. So,
whether the student is currently
using a DSLR, a mirrorless
camera, a point-and-shoot
camera, or a cell phone, the
hour-and-a-half class offered them
some information that will help
them in their pursuit of a
rewarding and satisfying hobby.
